ROBIN GLAZER is The Creative Center's Director, former art director, and first artist-in-residence. Robin has a BA in Dance and Film from CUNY and holds an MS in Child Development from Hunter College. Trained as a painter and printmaker, Robin was an art teacher and arts coordinator for the NYC Department of Education for more than 15 years. A cancer survivor and mother of five, Robin speaks internationally about the power of arts in healthcare and is dedicated to continuing the momentum of hospital artist-in-residence programs throughout the United States.

ALISON SMITH is the Director of Operations at The Creative Center & Houston Street Center at University Settlement. Alison has a BA in Sociology from Ithaca College with 10 years experience in the non-profit sector. Alison's passion for connecting communities has led to collaborations between various programs for Creative Center participants including people living with illness and older adults.

SOPHIA VALERA HEINECKE is proud to be the Program Coordinator at The Creative Center. She is a playwright and performer who has been an artist fellow with the Performance Project at University Settlement and received both the John Golden Award for Playwriting, and the Issac Kwock Award for Social Justice. She is the development lead at Experimental Bitch Presents, an assembly of artists dedicated to building community and creating new work that disrupts, engages, and redefines the process of art-making.
