"I am celebrating thirty years of full-time art making, and I am looking forward to decades more. As the artist-in-residence at the University of New Mexico Hospital, I see the benefits of having fun with art for the children who are filled with delight as they create. I also see the way the environment is enhanced by a large, well-presented art collection at this hospital. Art adds a dimension that is necessary in life and can help be part of a healing atmosphere. Several of my paintings from the past thirty years have been purchased by hospitals and health care facilities. I continue to paint five days a week."
